I run 7" dogs on my LTX and on my XTX. Good balance off trail and on. Guys I ride with like the 8" dogs. All in all, I like the Slydogs and will purchase again when I'm ready for new.

Dont know about trail ski, but I have 8" ones for off trail ( have not needed them for a couple of years ) they are fantastic for deep off trail roaming.

I had the Trail Dogs, good ski, corners like it's on rails. However, darted badly for me. Since there aren't any dual carbides available or possible on these except Bergtrom's triple, have to live with it. Also found steering effort was greater.

They share bolt pattern of CA and Curve if I recall. You can get slimjims for them, but they aren't designed specifically for them. There's a thread on here or you can check the Woodys site and see the stud placement on themI had the Trail Dogs, good ski, corners like it's on rails. However, darted badly for me.
