I can’t find nickel antiseize but I did find copper and it’s good for 2000. Will this be ok

torque spec on the chaincase cover I feel is also to high at 12ft lbs. Twisted one bolt right off
I have said it before and I'll say it again. I take those grade 2 ,hardware store, torx headed, junk #*$&@ chain case cover bolts and toss them the first time I remove the cover. Go get some 10mm headed bolts, 6mm x 1.0, about 1 1/2 long. Makes for easier installation as you can then use a magnetic socket to start the bolts.
Some here disagree but why put junk parts back in when you have them in your hand and good bolts are cheap?

Change them every year, and use anti seize. I prefer the Nickle but copper will work for sure. Also don't be alarmed if you get a little smoke when you first start your sled after putting new bolts in and anti seize. I have noticed mine smoke SLIGHTLY on first start up. Thinking its the anti seize smoking slightly

These threaded holes in the turbo are actually not tapped very well from brand new. I've had some sleds with under 1000kms where the bolts don't come very well. Run a tap through helps, but being very careful not to break it off in there.

I have tried the Walters ceramic, Permatex aluminum, Permatex nickel and Permatex copper. IMO the copper is the best, I wasn't impressed with the nickel and the ceramic actually froze the bolts in there almost like throwing lime dust into the threads and and baking it in. I now mix the copper with aluminum only because my copper has dried up so badly. You'll be good with the copper.

Now that you've had them out you won't have anymore issues most likely.... I use copper AS as well, no broken bolts since 2017...

Thank you gentleman for making this job easy. I was nervous to tackle the bolts but i said screw it and did it anyway. I cut a t50 in half and used a 5/16 wrench to get the 2 hard ones out. I put copper anti-seize on the bolts and put them back in at 15lbs. While it was apart i checked the chain adjuster bolt and mine was good. Broke it loose and it went in about 1 1/2 turn so i backed it back out where it was and locked it down.exhaust bolts.jpgYou guys are very helpful this site rocks .
