Was running like a champ till the 86 link chain snapped in half. Gearing 22-41, chain had very little stretch based on how tight it fit with 22 gear.
Top gear bushing was "unnamed" modified bushing that is being sold. So it wasn't from a bad top gear/bushing. Bushing was still perfect. Chain had no visible damage or broken links just a few hundred miles prior to it breaking.

Not much! Couple little scratches in the chaincase,What kind of damage was done?
I would say I got lucky. Track was locked up and would not turn.

Your lucky, could have been bad on you and the machine.
I posted a topic in September about checking your chain. When I did my preseason maintenance I noticed a link on mine was broken.
