Was running like a champ till the 86 link chain snapped in half. Gearing 22-41, chain had very little stretch based on how tight it fit with 22 gear.
Top gear bushing was "unnamed" modified bushing that is being sold. So it wasn't from a bad top gear/bushing. Bushing was still perfect. Chain had no visible damage or broken links just a few hundred miles prior to it breaking.

2500 miles on chain and lower gear, new upper.
1.5" track w/1.64 studs

What kind of damage was done?
Not much! Couple little scratches in the chaincase,
I would say I got lucky. Track was locked up and would not turn.

I posted a topic in September about checking your chain. When I did my preseason maintenance I noticed a link on mine was broken.
