Getting close here on trading in my Attak for 2013 XTX. I have a few questions: Has anyone ran that 1.75 lug track on trails? How would it hold up? Would the lugs flex too much and bend or break lugs?

Second question: I really think I would need a trail tank, how much $$ are they and where is the best place to order one?

Thanks

I have gotten about 8000 kms on my backcountry so far,
1/4 of them on trail. I run it with scratchers whenever im on the trail,
and im still on the original set of hyfax from 2008.

The only time i've ever damaged the track is while hitting rocks and stumps.

Its a great track, and it performs pretty darn good in the mountains too.

Trailtank.com or Ulmer.com have trail tank stuff. I think they are around $300-325 and I would highly look into Grizz's new fastener idea on this forum for the trail tank

I'm also getting prices trading in my 06 Attak for the XTX. I might get the 1.75 and run the dupont slides and maybe Excell wheels. Slides should last then.

What are you getting for trade figures so far using the Yamaha cash towards the sled?

I want to try to trade for $6,000.00. We'll see what happens I am still in negotiations with my dealer. I do want the 4 year warrenty or longer if I can get it, also working on getting some add ons at his cost.

You don't need to get the Y.E.S. warranty from your dealer, if he want's a lot for it. Call Port Yamaha they have great deals on the extended warranty.
