I'd Like to add I just sold my machine to a buddy But for the 1100 Miles it was alot of fun, Under powered on the big trails or lakes but for the everyday Riding it was Fun....... I like that it Ran and started everytime...
It made it till 1100 miles before the Y-pipe sounds Cracked and the Front Idler Wheels are out of shape but thats a warranty thing.........
Does not Burn Oil, Same Belt and sliders and maybe the rear shocks are in need of a adjustment but It was a good year with it....

I went from an SRX to an RX-1 to an Apex. Just traded a few weeks ago with Chad at M&M Powersports in Hancock for the Phazer GT. Yes, I gave up lake burning speed, but it is a blast to ride, and it regularly will hit 85mph on the trail.
I would like to change exhaust, but hopefully there will be several options available by next winter. I would like to see another 10 mph out of this sled if possible, so I'm going to wait and see what aftermarket options become available.

all 350 miles of mtn riding,
I've loved every minute of it..
although saturday was a bit rough
but it didn't matter what you were riding
when your in 4-5 feet of sugary spring slush
everything gets stuck...

I was somewhere around 550 miles on the Mtn. Lite. Very happy with it. Fun sled. I'm going to install fox floats up front and FX shocks and springs on the rear this summer to make it a little more suited for bumpy trails. With My kids approaching riding age this machine will be on My trailer for years to come.

I would have done the "opposite" of that. At least I would not recomend the rear fx shock to anyone...The front shocks on my fx works really well but the rear skid shock sucks. It beat the hell out of me on bumpy trails and I'm thinking of revalveing or change it out with another brand. (bad rebound damping and no adjustment for this either)Just my toughts.

my last sled was a fire breathing pro x2 800 the only thing i really miss is the walker evans shocks and alittle hp and the dry boots i kept telling my buddies they could ride my phazer but ihave to much fun on it to have to stop and ride their crap ah ill let them buy their own over 1000 miles and were still riding winter came late but it doesnt want to leave so far its been awesome gotta love the lake effect
im extremely happy with my gt,no issues except for the fan that i installed but yamaha picked up the tab,the first 1000 miles,we were in lousy conditions but when the snow finally came i fell in love with it,altough its my wifes,i rode half the miles on it,its got 2500 miles now.the weight transfer on the gt is almost scary, over the weekend we were riding on hard pack crusty snow, just shift my weight to the back and the skis would lift as long as i wanted, addidting feeling.23 mpg canadian, original belt, hyfax, runners and no problem with wheels,i was waiting all winter for one to go bad but i guess they forgot to put the crappy wheels in mine, but hey i still have 2 years of warranty,my wife loves it too and i had a couple friends try it out last weekend and they all wanted one.good job yamaha

Only 1378 miles on my FX this year (lack of snow in east central MN) and I love it. I am also thinking of a revalve in the rear shock. The center and ski shocks seem to be good, but that rear just don't cut. I am very satisfied with the power for my style of riding (in the ditch and tight twisty trails) but in loose snow that ripsaw is no good. It is the first sled I have owned were your back doesn't hurt at the end of a hard day, and the first 4 stroke sled I have ever owned. My SX 700 didn't get the miles it normally gets, only 600 this year.
Sniper Viper, is your Freeride a 121" model? And how do you like it compared to that factory RipSaw? Just wondering, I'm not sure if I should go Freeride or Kimpex X-Force.
Thanks

1500km, very happy, more mods to come next year! I had to do alot to it though to get it to the point where I was very happy. Tunnel gaurds, ski's, trunk bag, fan etc etc the list could go on.

I too have 1500 km on my GT and I am very happy with it. I did have to cover the tunnel hole though.
It's hard to ride this sled with out a smile on your face.

Yes its a 121" freeride track and compared to the stock s h i t saw its like night and day, totally different sled after adding that 1,5" lugs freeride track

The stock track is ok if you only drive on hard packed trails but if you like doing other things than that I would recomend the freeride track. I would not have been without it! Also, you dont loose so much top end with this track. At least I didnt on mine but I also have the ulmer clutch kit. I didnt ride sled with stock weights/primary spring/ freeride but I have talked to other that also have added this track with stock gearing and they all think this track is fantastic

Edit: I forgot to tell about accelration but Its awasome!! Standing on back of running board and hitting the throttle the skis are high up in the air up to aprox 80kmh/

Happy? - YES. It's a blast to ride.
I did call yamaha and they flipped the bill for the side panels and that all but eliminated the problem with ice on the running boards.
I tend to keep my stuff for a long time and it will be handed down to my son in four or five years when I get something new.

I've got close to 1100 miles, I was really upset with Yamaha on the details (i.e. idler/guide wheels/overheating/icing). But the sled never left me stranded, missed a day riding or felt it lacked power/suspension. Looking back over the season, I feel the same as Blue Giant.
I've beat it like a red headed step child and woke up every morning standing straight.
I have rode them and there fun but after all your guys reports it makes me want one.
