My buddy bought a new 'doo and took the maiden voyage yesterday.
He sent me a text saying to watch him on a bar's web cam as he was starting it off the clutch.
Said "battery is froze". Guess it had turned over hard when he started out but didn't think anything of it being new to him. Maybe just a bad cell in it?
I didn't realize a recoil isn't on it, A $200 EXTRA OPTION he said. He was calling the dealer today....

Pros: Way more stable, way less tippy, not darty, rear suspension is a billion times better and the power is intoxicating.
Man, if the Phazer had this engine and rear skid it would be the world's most awesome sled. I saw a few phazers out on the trail and I have to admit I had tiny pangs of regret...until I pushed that flapper to the bar. Seriously though, mixed feelings so far but as I get used to the new ride I am sure I will have a better idea of what it can really do. Heading out Tuesday to American Man...hundreds of square km's of fun times and 40+ cm of fresh pow...can't wait!
