Got my sled a month ago and thanks to this site I did a lot of updates to it to help ensure a good experience. Had the dealer swap the track for a storm 150 and installed 1.575 studs. Added the belly pan protector, tunnel protectors, and protectors for the rubber hoses in the tunnel. Installed rivnuts on both side panels for easy access and replaced turbo bolts with nickel anti seize. New c&a skis with slim Jim’s, and a higher windshield. Finished it off with the new linq bag system and the mps system from bop. Came off a ps apex and didn’t want too lose the ease of steering. Special thanks to rockerdan for his build thread which made all of this so much easier!
Everything seems to be freezing up nicely so hoping for lots of snow and a great year!

To me the SRX is the best looking factory design going right now

how much clearance is there at the tunnel coolers with that track installed? Is there enough clearance to accept a 1.75" lug backcountry track?

It would be the same clearance as any 137 length sidewinder

I believe there is less clearance on the SRX. the suspension is deeper in the tunnel which also reduces the angle of attack.

Has this been confirmed or is it just lowered with different springs?I believe there is less clearance on the SRX. the suspension is deeper in the tunnel which also reduces the angle of attack.

I roughly measured the srx beside another sidewinder at the sled show earlier this year. using a piece of paper as a guide, it looks like the front suspension bolt is higher in the tunnel on the srx, and the rep also indicated there may not be enough clearance for a 1.75 track, but he wasn't sure.
I don't have any accurate measurements, but track/tunnel clearance looks tighter than my sidewinder.
I am picking up my new srx this week and I can look closer at the clearances.
Hopefully someone who has a SRX can chime in about the clearance.

The tunnel and rear drop brackets are the same part numbers between the LTX SE and the SRX. Unless they are using different holes to mount them it has to be a difference in springs only.

Im betting same as older sleds....Front are lower for sure with diff springs, not so sure rear is even lower but if it is, im guessing just springs/settings.

Different rear springs, I already looked into this as I have the 19 LTX early deposit with the same shocks as the SRX front and back. I'm thinking about switching to the SRX rear springs as I only weigh 160lbs and I like the lowered position of the whole sled.Im betting same as older sleds....Front are lower for sure with diff springs, not so sure rear is even lower but if it is, im guessing just springs/settings.
