Cant get much closer than that Brian.
Nice to see someone local trying the Precision set up. I believe there is a guy in NS on here who has purchased one as well.
A lot of members here running TD and Hurricane seem very pleased.
I have purchased the Hurricane bundle but nothing installed yet. Leaving stock until I Run Adams new 850. ; )
Will be interesting to see how Precision EFI plays out.
What is the relationship if any between Martin @ Precision Sports and Sebastian at Precision EFI?

What did we just see?

A very close run between Yammie & Cat 998's both with Precision EFI Stage 3 Tunes. 280 hp they say.

Brian (68 GMC) has built a lot of Motec & MCX Doo's for the last few years but he has come over to the Blue Side this year.

Adam Who?
The 850's I find rather hard to outrun. Some of them I can not.

Can't go wrong with any tunes available. A lot of really good options out there for the 998.

Just a note after reviewing Motec log files from your area. The fuel octane level can be questionable so when running the high level tunes I would use a bit of Torco no matter what company's tune you are running as added insurance atleast until all tunes have a knock warning system to warn of low octane!

As far as Precision EFI and Precision Sports they are direct competitors with no affiliation.

Happy Trails!!!

Ok. Will do Brian.
I got Some Torco from Hurricane.
Is Martin doing Anything for The 998?

The others uses Irving. I use Shell. Any likelihood Shell Is Any better ?
I also fill the truck before the sleds so any 87 in the hose or pump doesn't make it in the sleds.

He will be offering a plug in stand alone Motec solution in early January that will give the end user total control over the tune and allow for easy hardware upgrades as can have closed loop lambda and boost control and log and review data to fine tune for any hardware upgrade.

Shell uses their own additive but all the fuel in your area comes from the Irving refinery which should not be an issue but for some reason seems more prone to knock than our 91 which is shipped from Quebec by rail car. What I do when fueling up anywhere that has questionable 91 is assume 87 or less and add enough torco using 87 as a base to bring it to 91+. Luckily Nepisiquit and Rogers Lake lodges all use 91 from our Valero terminal which I know is good so no issues when fueling up north where we ride. Other than those places and our own Petro-Canada locations where the 91 is always perfect... ;) I use torco!

can anyone confirm if Petrocan uses methanol in the 91 octane. the shell around here claims they don't?

I thought no one in NB put methanol or ethanol in 91 but Brian would know for sure.
Some of the Shell's in Moncton say on their pumps that they don't have methanol in 89 & 87. Gas not from SJ refinery perhaps?

So what do you think so far on the Winders/TCat's Brian? Got any real miles on the compare to the 1200's? Looks like a bunch of you are trying them which is cool.

Same on this end too, I have a swarm of friends and riding buds on them now too. We used to be mainly Doo and amazing how its turned the Yama/Cat way now.

Hopefully Textron can add some quality to these Cats, cause it doesn't seem like they are put together or engineered too great yet really. They sure ride, handle and feel good ergo wise though. Just a little rough around the edges yet I think though with cheap azz torx bolts, fasteners , paint etc.
