Thought I had the bad starter from kickback issue happening, pulled the starter and found no bad teeth. Decided to open up the starter motor and found it full of oil due to the lip seal tearing in the front cover. Haven’t heard of this one yet. The only thing I can figure is the seal froze to the shaft and tore when I tried to start the sled.
Good find! Have to remember that.
