Hey everyone, the grizz is running!!!
pulled the carb off and gave it a good cleaning, one thing that I noticed was the elbow at the top of the cab was not connected to any hose at all. the only hose that I can figue that was for that elbow was a hose that was on the part that went from the air box and to the carb. I think all that dirt that caused the problem was comming from there, no telling how long that has been off. anyway I ran it up and down the street a few times and of course it doesnt feel the same for some reason, could just be all in my mind. anyway I hope to get it out this weekend after this down poor is over. I dont know if anyone has been watching the weather for this area (VA,DC &MD) but its water, water everywhere! its going to make for some good 4Wheeling when its over.
anyway wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to help me with this problem for the last few days. I think its over now , I hope.

You're right about the riding conditions, you're going to have a blast. Now seems like a good time for a shameless plug about the use of breathable waders as standard riding gear.
