With all this talk over clutch kits and performance mods thought I’d share the following adjustments to my Viper 2 weeks ago and it’s working well.
I have an 2014 Std Viper (yes, with the heated seat… that I love)
After 1300mi I made the following adjustments:
Front Shocks/Springs: Before – stock from factory - felt bottoming on the 2ft moguls or a jump occasional jump. After – tightened springs up 1/2 in and I get better performance in the 2+ moguls now.
Rear: I purchased/added the Muffin Works 5-cam adjuster. Ran on 1-1 and had some bottoming as well in the same conditions as above. After- went to 2-2 and it really helps the bottoming now and feel the whole rear skid work now.
So far this has been the best setup to date at 1800+mi compared to a friend has same sled (stock settings) with same weight as me. IMO, overall performance is a part of the skid/suspension.
