Glad you got it .just like the track alignment I gave up with the bs and just going to do what I bought it for.ride the fing thing

So it wasn't bent , Obviously it got delivered from dealer that way ! Dropped at my friend's today who is a guru MECHANIC ! I also picked it up, PROBLEM Not Bent , misaligned ! It was off over 1 1/4 inches he did his thing with straight edges and laser and adjustments and it's good to go ! I could have done it but I certainly wouldn't have been done today, happy to give him a few bucks and now it's DONE ! Can't believe the type of workmanship these days , OH on second thought yes I Can ! Thanks guys for all your help ! And the thing is although we should check all things out ! You really shouldn't HAVE TO , might as well tell them deduct some set up fees and We'll get it done and pay a trustworthy MECHANIC ! ! !:dunno::dunno:

Look at all the experience I'm, we're getting ! ! !
I don't need it man !
When you own a sled, these are the trials that force you to get familiar with them mechanically. The more things that you do yourself, the better you know the machine.

I don't know the dealer that you dealt with, and I'm not going to try to defend them but its possible that someone else had the tie bars out of place. If you dont have a reason to check, you could've ridden it for years without knowing there's a problem.
Good luck and enjoy your new sled!!!

My guess is below the riser. From the riser mount to the top mount of the column. It could have been rolled on its side.
I hit a tree with my RS Venture TF 2015, and besides the front end damage--I think I sorung the steering column because my upper body panel up past the gas tank is not sitting correctly now after the accident? WHere do you think it might have bent just enough to move that panel? Or how can I really tell?

Bent column from the mount up? I have seen this before.. easy repair.

(down by the bulkhead--the tie rod ends now rub on the right side of the engine block--although I know the spindle is 15/16 in pushed back on the top which would have pushed the tie rod ends back...) )

In parts schematic from Yamaha which part are you talking ?
Does anyone have experience with fixing a bent steering column? how to remove? do I need to take out the engine? ANY help would be great for my 2015 RS Venture TF that met a tree

You'll have more luck posting in the RS Venture forum. This is for SR Viper owners. Good luck.
