Ok guys, I am sure there is a thread on this somewhere. What is the best way to remove the warning labels on these things?

warm em up a little. Pick them off with your finger nails, this can take a little work than clean off the goo with Citrol. This stuff will wipe the goo right off with NO damage to the paint.

Do not use ooops or goof off. It will eat the plastic. Like Slush said use a citrus base or even something like WD40 it will get gooey just keep using fresh spot on a rag or paper towel to remove the glue.

I warmed mine up with hair dryer then peel and citrus cleaner. The sticker will tear and not come off easily but it does come off just takes some time patience and elbow grease. Like LB says I used a chamois not paper towel.

label removal

I removed the warning label on the fuel tank shroud-warmed it up real good but still took some time to carefully work it off. Then used some 3M adhesive remover to remove the remaining adhesive.

Looks much better w/o the warning label!!

These labels stick better than duct tape!

Paper towel tends to be somewhat abrasive. Use something thats REALLY soft.

Viva paper towels are ok . They are softer than all the rest .Then use some wax & grease remover to take off the glue .
