It's ok to swap, 17&18 will interchange. I have done that. Hour meter will be the difference in readout.

Well, I’m actually looking to go with a stage 2 or 3. Leaning towards a stock muffler tune and with Precision EFI 30hp is the most you can go with stock muffler. So hoping to maybe sell my current one.

I looked into swapping a 17 flashed into a 20. NO GO according to TD.

Looks like PEFI now has a SM 250HP tune (Stage 1R).

hurricane has a 270 SM tune and it works well. on the ice it is side by side with other tuners 270/275 PM tunes

Thanks for the info. It’s interesting that PEFI requires the intake to achieve the 250 where others are doing this with stock intake.
