Recently took delivery of my "Spring Ordered " 2019 SIDEWINDER LTX-DX. Does anyone have any input about the plastic backers that STUD BOY offers. I currently run pre-studded tracks on my 11 VECTOR LTX-DX, 14 VIPER LTX-DX, and 18 VIPER LTX-DX.
I haven't put studs in a track since my thundercat days. They look like they will do a good job, but wonder about the horsepower factor.
I am not an aggressive or hard rider, I just want studs to keep me honest in corners and braking ability. 95% of my riding is in Canada, and average around 22 - 2500 miles per season. Anyone with experience about these backers, I would like to here your thought about durability and reliability.

Thanks
Hank

These?

290 HP thru them on my Winder. 240 thru them on my Doo. Never had a failure unless overtightened on install. I tap them just over half way thru prior to install to thread, work awesome.

Fast Trac backers work really well, no breaking or splitting. Have been running them for years and will hold up for the life of a track.

If you look closer you'd see I'm running some std round Fast-Tracs and the Stud boy Pro-Lites. The Pro-Lites help with traction in certain conditions as being a paddle.

Loved my fast-trac polymere backers for many many yrs on many sleds, never hurt one. I ended up with woodies alum this time round tho with no issues so far.
