Do you guys and gals think 96 studs is "enough" for this Viper? Looking for advice. I mainly trail ride/tour with some off trail/two track riding. I'm thinking the Flying "V" pattern so I can add more later if needed. Thanks for the reply's.

I have been running 96 down the center on my 2016 LTX and my past 2 LTX's. Perfect match for train riding. Also keeps track weight down to keep top end speed.

96 here as well! I ride all trail and turboed with no issues. I'm not studded for traction more for stability on occasional icey sections.

I have a 2014 ltx 137 and went with 120 studs down the middle. it seems to work well for trail riding. The more studs you have puts less stress on the studs and reduces the chances of a pull through. finding your balance of studs depends on where and how you ride. if you gas hard coming out of a corner that is blown out puts a tremendous amount of stress on your studs,if you only have 96 each stud is taking on more stress. the more you have the less stress on each stud. but to many isnt good either.

I'm at the Novi Snow Show now. Gonna pick up 96 and go with that for now. I can always add more in 24 stud increments.

I'd go with double backers and do two per bar. Did that on my apex and was good for over 10000km with no issues, that's why I did it again.I'm at the Novi Snow Show now. Gonna pick up 96 and go with that for now. I can always add more in 24 stud increments.

That was one double per bar!
