I am going to get 144, Woody's Megabites 1.325s or Studboy Powerpoints that are 1.375. Which would be better and why? Any other studs I should consider? Also, if I get the Studboys or anything longer than 1.325 will I need a heat exchanger protector?

I prefer the woodys gold diggers they last a long long time. The megabites dont hook up nearly as good as gold diggers on the ice and dont wear as well either. They cost a little more but its worth it if you plan on putting some miles on them.Ive got over 5000 miles on mine and they still are in pretty good shape.

All depends on what your trying to accomplish.

I run the 1.375 gold diggers in mine with 1.25" ripsaw.

Where did you find 1.375 Gold Diggers? I can only find 1.325 and 1.450s.

I used 1.325" golddiggers also. I took a quick look at Woody's site, I did not see any studs in 1.375", all they show is 1.325", then 1.450". I don't think 0.050" would make a big differance for most people anyway.
