I havn't seen a listing of which sub frames are bent AND the date of production. Maybe something changed in the production and that is produceing the problem. Sort of like the thread about how some nytros pull harder than other, due to a change in the production (or suspected). If you've bent yours, post when it was built and maybe we can find a patern. If this has already been done, please delete this thread.

I will get some pics of the underside of my sled for you with some measurements if I. What is your idea?

The idea is as stated in the post. A few friends of mine run a skidoo dealership and mentioned that the XP's had a "small run" of bad ones that had a certain part out of spec. I'm wondering if this is the same thing, in the sub frame. A slightly tweaked design came in for a certain run and thats why a bunch of these are showing up, while others are beating on their sleds hard and having no problems.

I agree.
The people who have bent front ends should remove as many plastic panels and covers as possible, and post some pics of the frame(s). You should be able to tell if it was bent from use, or if it was assembled wrong. I have a hard time believing that Yamaha would ever send out a front end that was not assembled correctly, but juding from the uproaring that is happening here, I'm sure it will be a short-lived problem!!!

Could those that have problems with the front end tell us witch side is bent? To mee it looks like there are more right sides bent then left...

My build date is 9/07 and so far with 700 miles big bumps, smooth trails everything is straight. Im pretty sure mine was a later build RTX. I think I have the restrictive exhaust though
