Summer toy for TY riders

So...let me get this straight....you don't know why I would put a $15k on a charger, but you put a $15k engine on a early 70s conqueror...come on.

Nice superjet though! I could never master the standup. Spent more time swimming then riding.

It sure didn't stay on very long!
The issue really was that I didn't have the $$ for both at the same time. The new boat came the next year.

I didnt know Canadian Tire made and sold boats. :D

You know what they say-
"For some things there's a question about money...... for everything else, there's MasterCraft."

Now that you know what it looks like, flag me down at Madge Lake!

Well I will be looking for it for sure. I am going to be there for the August long.

but then you put it on a Grew.....;) (are we even yet lol)

By asking that question you are opening yourself up to all kinds of comments from the LBs of the world.

Honestly, they're a fine boat for the money. I'm sure it will serve you well...it's a f/g boat..what could go wrong. Luckly you don't have any of that pesky balsa core or handlaid fibreglass like a certain cheap #*$&@ Charger owner.

These are not boats. This is a boat. 4000 horsepower. Good in rough water.

We should have made more.

I know I have posted it before but here is my favorite summer toy 160 RWHP and 196 MPH stock. I have added a Two Brothers exhaust PCII BMC race filter and a small airbox mod.

LB

Talked with my dad and he said 52 all the time and 55 in the right conditions, but became unstable at 55 when my uncle sandedthe hook off. Wanted to become airborn at 55mph then. The guy that bought it put a 115 6 cylinder mercury on and was able to do the same speed with it also, Fast enough that he flipped it over twice. Mounting height of the outboard has alot to do with speed of a boat, and with my Uncle working in the R&D dept for Chrysler outboard in the 70's has spent more time testing boats, and motors on the water than you and I will ever spend just using them for fun. Etheir it was good setup or just dumb luck that we had everything just right to go that fast with a smaller motor.

LB,

There's a Chrysler boat specific message group on yahoo where you could post your boat. I think it's called chrysler_crew.

The company I work for, actually was the distributor for Mastercraft boats...They are excellent!! You made a great choice.

I'm kind of an outboard guy (Baja with XR2, nose cone, L&S hyd. transom lift, low water p.u., dual steering, etc.) but we are doing more and more towing all the time so I figured it was to get something with big-time grunt (kids boarding, tubing etc.).
Baja's are very well built, but this MC is not only in a different ballpark, it's on a different planet....... it is THAT nicely put together. I can't wait till the ice is off the lake.
