Opinion Please. Have your filter kit, love it.
I am curently clutched at 10,000 rpm, with the new kit, horsepower and torque are consistently strong (almost no loss) from 10,000 to 10,700.
Dyno Sheets.
Where do you recommend clutching at,RPM? Is there an advantage to spinning her hidher or keeping rpms lower?
Thanks 4 Play
PS Did I mention I absolutely LOVE THE KIT!!!!!!!!!!

If it were mine, I would clutch for around 10,300 RPM's. Spinning the engine higher will produce more MPH. But keep in mind you are getting the opinion of a dragracer by asking me. CVT clutching is more precise and efficient the slower you spin the clutches. This is why the ratio drop to the primaru s a nice thing on the RX1...same went for the V-Max4. Engine is at peak operating power and clutching is too! This engine is well designed and perfectly happy running at 10,300 RPM's.
I would recommend you talk to Dale Toole from Dalton Industries and/or Matt from The Speedshop. Dale has my air kit and is testing for clutch kits for it and they will also be visiting my shop to perform more dyno work on the Stage 2 engine that we prepared for them last year. Matt from The Speedshop has also orederd an Air Kit from me and will be testing clutching setups. These guys are doing this just for you all so please patronize them.
Glad you like the Air Kit...good luck!

USMC,
Do a search for "ECP" on this forum.
The "ECP RX1 dyno day" thread probably has the most info and will get you started.
Lots of others as well that you will find when you do the search.
