I have an 05 Venture that I've bastardized with various suspension parts.

I want more power now.

I have a friend who has an Nytro Motor(including ECU, cables etc..) that I can buy cheap.

Are the Engines the same physical size? Will the exhaust line up?

I have an Excel Header for the Venture Motor already installed.

I would run K&N's so I wouldn't have to worry about the airbox.

Is there any reason this won't work?

Will the Oil tank from the Venture work for the Nytro Motor?

Does EFI require a different fuel pump in the tank?

Thanks

It looks like doing EFI will be too hard due to the issues with the Fuel Pump and fuel tank.

What about just using the short block using all the Intake, Carbs and exhaust from the 973?

Is there anything unique about the EFI motor that would'nt allow it to run on carbs?

just get a inline fuel pump like a holly or something they are cheap then if you have to get a ajustable fuel pressure regulator you shoul find all you need at jeg's or summit
