I have a 2014 rtx ....just replaced both bottom side planels due to sway bar end rubbing on them.....Yamaha replaced them and said that it was a one time deal.....they went as far as to say that it was partially my fault due to not having enough air in front shocks...thinkin of removing the bar ....what are the pros and cons if I remove it...anybody else have issues like this....thanks

Mine is rubbing now too. The bushings wear and some it hits even before that. Thing moves side to side. Poor design.

I would just remove it. Put a little more air in your shocks and you wont even notice that you took it off. I'm not sure what your riding style is, but if you do any off trail it will benefit greatly due to the independent suspension.

mine has been rubbing from new ...still only 1000 miles

what psi is good to run in shocks with this bar taken out

Mine has been rubbing since new.
Pointed it out to my dealer and he pretended he could not see it rubbing.
Completely ignored it while it was in for service.
Next time it goes in for service i will remind them again.
I bet this time they tell me i hit something. Lol

My dealer(Donahue's) got my panel covered under warranty and then "modified" the sway bar. They rounded the corners to allow for more clearance. Should never be a problem again.

No snow might as well pull that sucker out and mod it also. Add it to my list!

I have the quick disconnect on mine and only when flying deep into a turn do I notice a little roll as ski lift when it is un hooked
