Don't freak out. Here's the deal, TY is a tech oriented site, always has been. So you're going to read mostly about ways to make things better here. It doesn't mean the sled is junk. Yamaha has always been known for quality and yet if you read the threads from all the sled subsections all the way back to the 2 stroke site you'd think they're junk. That's just because we're always striving for the most out of all these sleds. It doesn't help that most of us have no snow and can't ride. It will all be better once we get some white goldDoes Yamaha know wtf is going no with this? I have a new 2015 rtx se with 0 ks on it I want to get rid of it with all the problems I hear on this site. I want my DOO back!!! I bought this sled thinking it was a YAMAHA... QUALITY.. I jumped ship from my SKI-DOO, F whatI was thinking..
Make feel better guys!! about this sled...

Don't panic. Once you ride it you will love it. I know there are some issues with the sleds that some are dealing with. All brands have issues. Personally, I haven't had any of the issues (thankfully), but I do know what to watch and listen for. I have the warranty for four more years and if an issue does come up, I will get it taken care of. In the meantime, I am going to enjoy the ride (as soon as it snows that isDoes Yamaha know wtf is going no with this? Can someone show some pictures of the rub, I have 1/2 inch clearance all through the cycle. Had my shocks off and pushed the suspension through it's travel and no way it would rub.

Mine had clearance when new. Hits now.

I will keep an eye on it. Changed my a arms to the Z Broz 45 inch ski stance. that might be the reason I have more clearance.

A lot depends on how the side lower plastics are riveted on the chassis at the factory.

Yes and bushing wear at rear lower a-arm and swaybar bushings. My sled is rough already. Will get those all tight and grind a hair off bar. It will be fine.
