Give us some feedback after you have fired her up!I just bolted on the the TD 3" Stock Modified Muffler for this year as I'm going to try the TD Jukebox Performance Muffler Tunes as been running the Stock Muffler Tunes the last couple of years. Hope I like the muffler as shouldn't be too loud over stock.

Yes, mufflers are expensive. But I pay when tuners develop quiet power mufflers. I will never spend any money on a loud muffler again. We have skiers, people fishing. They all complain. Loud mufflers only create more closed areas for sledding.
I want power but quiet as stock muffler.

People complain about them too but no one can shut down a road over it. I hate hearing a straight piped bike drive past at 2 AM after bars or at 3:30 AM heading to work at the factory 2 miles down the road. Not enough police to enforce it.I agree... However, how do the Harley guys get away with it in the summer?

Harleys ride public highways, not on private land. The private landowner who gets pissed off due to noise can close the trail immediately.

LOUD pipes are a problem for this sport! Mostly 2-strokes & a few "race" pipes on 4-strokes.
I used to run pipes years ago.
Im not sure if I'm just older or wiser to reality.
ALL the off trail guys run VERY loud 2-strokes but where the videos are made, like BRAAP, they are in big mountains without people.
The younglings watch these vids & mimmick them in more populated areas.
Just this year some local off trail guys came in for gas.
As they were tooling around the club, nobody could have a conversation while eating.
An HOUR later we could hear them echoing the WHOLE valley.
A local landowner said out loud in the restaurant "they are gonna kill this sport" !!!!!!!
TRUE STORY
BUT, even the loudest 4-strokes aren't that bad.
ALL the "TRAIL" pipes I've heard on the ACE's, 1100's & Winders are within reason.
So i'm NOT complaining about the 4-stroke TRAIL pipes.
We as 4-strokers are lucky that a header & mild pipe can achieve HUGE power without scaring the tree huggers.

The 4 stroke performance mufflers have the DEEP tone not the high pitched scream of the 2 stroke. Its a totally different sound IMO.. And its just not as annoying. Harleys in Wisconsin get a free pass always.. 18 year old kid in a jacked truck with loud exhaust will get pulled over and Harleys come by while the officer is shaking down the kid and rattle the cops teeth! Nope free pass! .

Harley Davidson has $$$. It’s called, Political Clout! Same with boating. Money in politicians pocket means freedom to do what you want in our country! Unfortunately…………it’s the American way, lol.

after market 2 stroke mufflers are nowhere near as valuable as a four stroke muffler power wise, they just make a few HP and 10 times the noise!!

Tell me about it, my outlaw 525 with a yoshi exhaust is so damn loud, but I've ridden a rossier that was louder than that at idle.after market 2 stroke mufflers are nowhere near as valuable as a four stroke muffler power wise, they just make a few HP and 10 times the noise!!

why not just cut off the flex pip and elbow and tig it onto a magnaflow?Yes, mufflers are expensive. But I pay when tuners develop quiet power mufflers. Stock inlet into bigger outlet wont give you any gains as the exhaust can only flow as well as its smallest passage. May change the tone but flow will still equal that of a 2” mufflerwhy not just cut off the flex pip and elbow and tig it onto a magnaflow?
