Finally got some snow ,with some trails groomed. 200 miles on LTX SE put on in my field. Conditions have been terrible this year, snow comes and goes, no ice on bay where testing is done. I installed one of Daltons helix, which I previously had in and went out on the somewhat groomed trails. This is out for a fun trail drive, loose snow. Here is how it went- top speed 121 speedo on trail, ran out of room. In field 20 plus inches powder 116. This sled is a beast, just keeps pulling and pulling until you run out of room. Some numbers - stock helix straight 35 57 mph 6000rpm Dalton 39/35 62 mph 6000rpm, fuel 113 miles 36.5 liters. Lots of good things to come from these innovative companies.

What weights you using. My daltons adjustable just arrived today.

[thanks Dale. Installing td speed time meter today. Looking out at bay smooth, smooth ice. Hope it gets cold soon. Will see what SW will top out at. John

DTYA-1 (73.6-81g) second shortest in to tip 1.02 grams. This is my starting point - 144 woody gold diggers 12 rep pattern all in center belt.
I just installed same weights yesterday. And looking forward to trying it this weekend. Did you change primary spring too?

No, not since td transfusion. I did have Dalton red in a friend's secondary for a run. My stock spring and helix were at Dalton's as a guinea pig. We lost snow today, hoping for it to turn cold, get a couple inches of snow and get on ice!!
