Testing with TD GPS/Dragy

Congrats. 129.77 is close enough in my book to 130. Maybe wrap that secondary a little more ?
I was there watching these speed demons !
The even slightly aware trail rider has no idea what speed is until you stand track side , and see a sled go by at 125,135, and 140+ !!!
I took a couple runs , and even though my speedo said 117 , I was only going 105.5 !
Even though I am studded it sure didn't feel like it , and it took a run or two to get comfortable to the point I didn't feel I was at anytime going to start spinning sideways . But still it took me a couple 100 feet before I started to get some half decent traction , and then there was the gun .
Even with all the ice picks that they have in their tracks there still must be some slippage .
DMC , did you ever happen to notice what speed your speedo read when you are doing those runs .

It was nice meeting you.

I don't have my speedo on the dash when running. I have RPM and boost showing.

Ready to rock! Should be fast tomorrow!

Great day on the lake. Big crosswind today. Best my 220lbs could do today was 128.8 on the stalker which was 128.54 on my dragy.

My sled hit my goal of 130mph in 1320' on pump gas with a lightweight driver. Man can she ride a sled!!

Overall pretty happy to where I've got this sled too. Big thanks to the Whitson Lake Boys for helping me reach my goal.

Great data. I see you would have won a drag race by .25 sec :). she spun more.

I was trying to upload a video but it's too large.

Not sure if this link will work but if it does it shows what the Dragy can do with video. It wasn't the 130 pass and it's hard to see as I have it mounted to the bars but it's pretty neat how it overlays your trap times on the screen.

@Fleecer suspected I was slipping the XS 825 belt with 82gr in the primary so I tightened my secondary to 6-2 and my rpm dropped to 82-8400 rpm. A sure sign that he was correct. I kept pulling weight all day and the sled kept getting faster.

Clutching ended as follows;

Dalton black bronze primary spring
Dalton DTYA1s at 76grams
Dalton black orange at 6-2
Stock 35 helix
XS 825
290 pump gas tune
