- 2017 Sidewinder XTX LE 137
Very happy customer, performed great at -25, I have no problem holding it WFO in these temperatures. I know I was leary with a flash in these cold northern temps.
First I'll break down my setup, xtx 137 with 1.75 backcountry. Pulls like a freight train to top end. Ulmer pink primary spring, stm weights, 2 washers in base, 2 tungsten in tip, 35/39 dalton reverse helix, stock spring, cat rollers wrapped at 60. Comes out at 92-9300 then will settle around 9000.
On a groomed trail with an inch or 2 of soft snow on the base, 2 gallon fuel can plus saddlebags, 50lbs of ice buildup from 1000kms of riding and my 225lbs dressed hit 110 gps.
I'm pretty happy with that. Track and gear swap coming up so I'm pretty confident with a smaller lugged track and a gear I'll easily have a 120+ mph on snow reliable trail sled that I can hold wide open all day long if I desire.
Thanks TD! Your always quick to answer messages and really made my first venture into the boosted world a great experience.
