Does the vector engine have a thermostat? I am planning to install a temp gauge and was wondering, if it does have one, what temp does it open at? Thanks!

I have looked through the install on the temp gauge and it is a pretty good setup. Just one question for you guys out there. Is there not any place to just hook this sensor into block or hose or someplace where you would not have to cut the line and add in that bulky tee fitting? Doesn't look bad just like to keep things as clean and factory looking as possible.
My thermostat balance the temp at 62.5 C, that is 144.5 F.
I bought a LCD display where i thought i'd be able to interface to the existing thermistor with a mapping table but i did not receive exactly what i wanted. Me too wanted to avoid the hose cut & the mess & visual that come with it. End up to install my own thermistor(pin-head 1/32 in diameter) underneat a hose. (between hose connector & hose) to re-use the display
Interesting enought.... faster response than stock!!!
May want to find some else for next year since i'd like to bundle outside temp & systeme voltage on the same. Still targeting to tie onto the machine stock thermistor.. .. i had curved all the ohm/temp from -10c to +50c from the stock sensor already.

Yeah, that looks a lot better. Even better would be if you could drill and tap a hole in the aluminum housing just below the thermostat and just screw the sending unit in right there. Would look way more professional. Just my two cents.

I have the SLP splices in stock and can ship for $25 to anywhere in the lower 48.
