My sled is in apart right now. Lots of parts at the powdercoater and should have them back in a week. Can't wait to put it all back together.

It will be up to you guys and any other westerners to generate more action in our Mountain sections. I will say that this is the most active I've seen these sections since being a part of TY, so the trend is positive! It's hard to pull guys away from Snowest........

Summer time is slow. Midseason it definately was more lively.

am a snowester, and a dootalker...
with TTabs ModSop, we will generate a SIGNIFICANT amount of traffic here...his last section on his last sled generated over 380,000 (yes almost four hundred thousand page views)
So, we shoudl easily generate half that here...the westerners are coming!!!
And we will ahve to do a few TY forum rides out west here...I would be happy to host one...
Silentsno,

Oh yes. A true TY Mountain ride would sound very nice. I can't wait for my business to take off and I'll have a lot of free time.

You fella's say when and where!! I rode at Togwotee last year. First time EVER in the mountains! I am HOOKED! Wife is sick of me talking about it. There are several of us from IL,WI.and IA that want to make a trip out West this year. I am currentlly installing an Expert 144x1.5 and already have Powderhounds and riser for offtrail. Might look at NOS as a short term power adder for trips to the mountains. Keep up the informative and lively post's. You guys have been a great addition to the sight.
OK, so lest plan something in February in lets say West? to get to the good riding, you would stay in West but trailer to a few locales...there is some INSANE riding, and would fit for all levels...

I would suggest you guys wait till MrSled has the Forum ride dates set out before commiting to a particular date. The sooner someone makes a decision about when, the better the chances that guys that are on the fence will make the trip.
I would also PM MrSled to see if he has pointers for setting this up.

Bring it to Colorado?
if I am hosting it will be in Montana but if you are I got friends in Eagle, so no worries...I just think to get this forum going for mountain folk, we need to do some promotion...
Am confident we can get some sponsors of stuff and do some fun stuff...get a few boost companies to come and sponsor, and timbersled, and a few others to do some donations...

Not sure, there was some mention of one last season but I can't recall if it got off the ground. Guys will need to know where they can stay(names/links/numbers), it helps to have at least a couple guys to act as 'guides' if the number of attendants warrants it, and above all, you need some place to BS/tinker at the end of the day!
Just some food for thought. A first year ride may be spotty attendance wise, it will only grow with repeatability.
Oh ya, take lots of pics, day and night. We love pics!
