For those with the zx2 is there any harm with cutting the slides a little long and it makes that ticking noise. Mines cut at an angle with the rail but still makes the sound. My track is not too tight but isn't really loose. Prolly be more annoying at slow speeds. Right?

Are you sure the noise is coming from the back? I remember that same sound occuring when I installed the ZX2 on my Vector. It turns out it was the track hitting the front of the rails, not the back. Adjusting the track tension didn't alleviate the noise. It seems to be the norm with this suspension, no slide wear either. It doesn't make the noise when the track is on the ground.
Ride it and enjoy...worry free.

You can keep the track tension on the tighter side too as the suspension does shrink a bit when it's cold out and expands when it's warmer. I also believe that track tension plays a key role on how well the suspension works, more than a standard suspension. Try it and see.

Yea i know about the front while in the air. I'm pretty sure its coming from the back. The noise happens when rolling forward and stops at higher speeds. If i run the track really loose it doesn't make the noise.
