Any thoughts on Boondockers front mount turbo. I just got of the phone with rocky from Boondocker and he said there front mount turbo Kit Is adjustable from 6-15 lbs of boost and comes with a fueling box. Around 4000.00 Us. Sounded interesting, Any thoughts?

Hey Darko, good to see you on here. The less heat under the hood the better, IMO. Also less weight in the nose, I think, is also better. I'm sure with lots of venting and shielding the heat can be managed. They'll all be good I'm sure, better pick one soon.

I decided to go for the Boondocker kit on my new Apex. Many reasons but probably the biggest is that the Canadian distributer for boondockers is only 30 minutes from my house and he's also one of the best mountain riders and tuners ever! He's been turboing 2 strokes since the 80's and Turbo hill in Revy was named after he pulled it first (so the legend says). I know he'll get it dialed.....He better!
Any how, I hope it pulls as hard as my rear mount mcx does and is as reliable as well!

As did I. Canceled the supercharger order and called Boondocker a few days ago. Rocky called me back today and answered some of these questions. I asked him or a rep to respond to these questions, here, so look for them shortly.

My reasons were, to ditch the complete exhaust, lite seat, and hopefully not have to change to geometry on the rear suspension, to keep the front down.

From what I was told, they are ready to ship kits, just waiting to dial in the clutching and print some destructions. :) Waiting for snow, I guess.

They are dynoing all three this weekend (rx-1 apex &vector).I hope I can make the reverse work with this system.

At first, when i saw the 03 rx-1 i wanted to put a Aerocharger right
there and i figured i could use a 12 v. solenoid to engage reverse...
I built a few electric shifters for streetbikes and formula's 125 with
great success!. And you can shift it in reverse at a touch of a button
on your handlebars ;)! . Let me know if you want to try that out, i will
tell you where to get those powerfull solenoids..
