Throttle chop killing motor

it works fine at 10 lbs but fuel press needs to be higher for 17lbs i just got back and wouldnt accelorate and would pop. put it back to intercooler and was perfect. last night changed to 132.5 and put my float level to 15mm (was 10.5) nowreads perfect on stoitch and pulls hard, compared to the other day with 130 @ 17lbs (leeeeeaaaannn) if it was any higher like 19 lbs it would need 135's. i cranked my ible as well like 2000 and it seems to take better to chopping but still no good.

you don't need to jet going from 8 - 12 lbs but 10 - 17 you do and it only makes sence. that's my 2cents any way. if i am going to but it back to the boot vacume lines reg needs set up to 4lbs nut need gauge t'ed in.

..........Did you run off of all 4 boots (4 to 2 to 1) with 5/16 diameter output for the final "T"...............? Mine did fine at 14 p.s.i.

I have ran 10 to 17lbs no problem works good at what ever boost I want to run did you check fuel pressure as the boost increases to make sure fuel pressure is going up with boost. as rxhaler said are all four vacumn lines tied together with 5/16 line should not have to change fuel pressure as I am only running 2 lbs. at an idle, maybe a fitting leaking at higher boost

His system if set up properly, just plain works fantastic.. fuel delivery is perfect...... again, like others have posted, you must have flawless install on the fuel system,,, no leaks !

Not sure what that was all about ?? ,..............I don't recall any one saying they were using stock fuel pumps .........only that they were still there as a backup if the electric one fails .

Malpassis fuelregulatores has been the best in buisness since stoneage.Cheap and very dependable.Check all your connections and T-fittings,There are 99% of all problems. My $0,01.

From all i have heard if you have your blow off valve set correctly you shouldn't have much trouble with that. i talked to dave at powderlites about that exact problem and he said they have next to no trouble with that at all. as a matter of fact he said that diamond s is buying their turbo kit now for that reason. some of the bigger turbo's have told me they have that problem.

maybe you could give dave a call.

Yeah it sounds like if the bov was put in the charge tube it would also fix this .

We use the Bosch BOV on our kits as a compresser bypass valve. Keeps the compressor spooled when coming off throttle, and eliminates the engine stalling.
