My steering tirerods need some adjusting. My left ski tie rod is showing about 4 threads and the right ski is showing about 10 threads. They are showing equal threads under the hood when compared to the outside. Will this be a problem? If so how do i fix it?

skis are alinged, they are toed out 1/4inch. Subframe and a-arms are straight. I suppose i could adjust the steering post tie rod which will then allow me to adjust the ski tie rods.

Yeah you would have to adjust the steering post some then you could get your tie rods with equal threads showing. Its almost impossible to get at the rods in the center when its all together though.

True that, it's a pain in the butt. I will have to adjust them sometime when I have my sled apart. For now I will just cross my fingers

Did you have it apart? How did it get off center like that.

Oh got ya, I see 09 front end in your signature. Thats probably when it happened, they didn't center everything up while putting it back together. Not a big deal as long as its aligned correct now

OFT Relocator

Just reading through your signature, but did it always have the OFT Relocator?

If it did, then the person who put it on originally used the heim joints out at the spindles to put the handlebards back straight again. When you install an OFT Relocator you need to loosen the heim joints on the steering rod from the post to the "bell crank" because changing the angle of the steering post turns the handlebars to the left.
