Just wanted to put the word out that we lost landuse permission for a portion of the A111C. This section got you to downtown Timmins if you were coming in from the East. It is now visible on the OFSC Trail Map site.

We are re-routing the A111C to the L22 for the remainder of this year. Next year I have a plan in place to re-establish the A111C back to a similar spot but due to construction we can't do it this year.

So, if you are coming to Timmins for the East and running low on fuel I would suggest using the L31 to Porcupine. The gas station is on your left before you cross hwy 101.

The A111C (L22) to the C trail to Timmins adds about 20 km to your trip to reach the nearest gas station.

Too bad there MacPat , we were on your 111 last week , it was rockin , look on my You Tube under mrmuskokadave , in the first vid you will see some of your 111 , all your trails were awsome , I hear there might be a couple issues on C trail coming into Shining Tree this year

Yes, having trouble around shinning tree too. Last I heard C trail to gogama will open and you should be able to get across heading east. L143 probably won't open but we are trying to meet with the MNR sometime next week to discuss the issues.

Glad you liked the trails, I think I'm going to Snowmobile to work tomorrow, cause the trails are smoother then our highways. I will check out your video.

Always seems to be trouble around Shiningtree when they are using the Grassy Road to haul.

We stay and ride from Gowganda sometimes , one year they had a re-route around the Grassy back to C trail , It worked out good , I also see there are plowing 40 Ks of trail south of Shining Tree towards Sudbury , nice if the OFSC would pretend they care

Shinning tree area trails may be opening soon. I think there is a re-route in place. Trails not open yet but I think they are working on getting the signage and stuff organized. May get more news after a meeting on Wednesday night.
