anyone have any tips on how to protect the wire harness for the electronic shock for an 07 apex, my harness wore through two weeks ago while riding up north, I followed the wiring diagram update I found on this site, but the connectors at the shock are still exposed too much and the track hits the connectors when the front suspension bottoms out, I have been thinking of putting some sort of rubber skirt over the shock and tie wrapping it to the suspension, maybe with some sort of snap system. called carver performance and this seems to be a constant issue with this shock. I have to order a new solenoid assembly for the top of the shock and wire harness from yamaha looking at over $100 dollars us to replace the solenoid coil and stock wire harness. anyone have any ideas, I really dont want to have to replace these two pieces every year. I used lots of tie wraps to hold the cable in place. Their is not alot of clearance between the connectors and the underside of the track.

My 08 has a small piece of metal to act as a "track stop" to prevent hitting the wire... i guess one of the updates from 06/07. Just tire wrap the He!! out of it.. and when you think you have enough... put more.
