It sounds as if the ride is great---is the annoying track howl from 25/40 mph gone also? I ask because it looks as if the angle of attack is different in the zx-2

I think it has gotten worse for me as I really notice it now.
Last year on my ProActive suspension, I mounted larger wheels and it pretty much eliminated the track howl.

mine is 05 rx and the howl was the only thing I disliked about it. My buddys apex does the same thing. Grimm did you change tracks also? There was some talk it was a combination of track and approch angle of skid. I went to a 136 ice ripper. we will see this weekend.

I swapped to a 9833 this year and hoping for whisper quiet now, plus the zx2 shoudl help. The edge skid I had also cut the howl down by over 50%.

I didn't change the track on my sled. It's still the original ripsaw.

Mine is much quieter but I did put on a new fully clipped ripsaw also. I have it studded on the outside of the rails and I can hear the studs riding over the wheels. That is kind of annoying.

I didn't notice any track howling at slow cruise speeds. I have a rear mount turbo so it might get covered by the grrrrr from the angry engine LOL.

I noticed no howl either, its that damn ripsaw that howls, it was sooooo nice to declerate and just hear the skis skimming along!!

I think my ripsaw is gone for next year.

If you can find one go with a 9833, they might be obsolete by then. I like the durometer of it compared to the newer softer tracks. Tough as nails to.
Hey grimm check out my garage post i gave you some props!

The only howl I hear is coming from inside my helmet. It looks like I can ride again after 2 years with this new suspension. Back surgery and the proaction just about had me ready to quit. Wasn't a long ride so I will save the champane bottle for then, but it sure did make a difference on the ride I took

I have been looking at the Camoplast Cobra as my next track for the turbo. Anyone seen or installed a Cobra?
I'm in my 3rd season on the RipSaw, some minor wear have started to show so it's the last season on it.
