Is that trail open in Monroe? I thought they close that to atv's in the winter. I bet it was muddy on that trail that goes through the cow pasture.

The trail is open to atv's year round as long as there is no snow cover. Only the main grade is open between monroe and mineral point. Although I heard from some locals that the spur trail to belmont might also be open. And yes it was muddy on the return trip back into monroe in the afternoon.
