My Nytro never did this but it handled like crap compared to my viper...always a trade off. Hope the new spring fixes the problem...pulled the skid twice last winter and all was good...check yours!

Yep - I broke the front arm on my RTX too. I also think about the fact that I never broke the skid on my Nytro too. But then I have to remind myself of the poor handling, crappy shock valving, icing tunnel, failing donuts, crappy handwarmers, etc. etc. .... All of the things that I griped about on my Nytro (which is also a sled I loved) are issues I don't have with the Viper. So I guess with that, a broken front arm after 8000 miles of abuse is something I can handle.

Had similar repairs last year on my RTX. I think the chassis rides so nice I'm hitting rough trails much faster and harder which may contribute to the breakdown.
