I took first ride of season today near Marquette and about 20 miles out I got the same code. I turned around and headed home and when I shut sled off it would not start. I found this thread just now and when I checked I found my sensor was unhooked just like described on here. I hooked it back up and sled started right up after a big back fire. I attached a picture of the trail I started on, it was smooth. We need more snow for sure.

You see this is why I love this site! I just spent all day working on the Viper, installed a header, can, reflashed ECU, intake, Big Venom kit, Hygear Dual pressure kit on the ski shocks. When I was all done I started the Viper up and it was showing this code P0118. I thought to myself what the Heck did I do wrong? I came in the house to check on here to at least see what the code was for and found the answer I was looking for. The solution was simple the sensor was unplugged! Thanks everyone.
