Anyone been out yet?? What are the conditions like - looks like cold weather plus some snow over the next week in Kap - great news!! Maybe heading up right after Xmas so if anyone has been up plse post!!!!

They are posted as "Limited". I hear they have been out grooming. Same with Wawa and Dubreuilville. From what I hear they are just waiting for volunteers to finish up the trail packing and signs to open up the trails.

I am planning to make it up the the north first week in January.

There is 700 Kms open now in Kap and Cochrane , were heading up tues for 4 days , all the motels are almost booked up , there is a couple pics on Polar Bear Snomobile Club on FB

I'm heading up with the family and two others on the 28th for 4 days (all on Yamahas) - sounds like it will be busy. Heard the restuarant at the North Adventure Inn is not open until Jan 1st!

Have friends that left Cochrane and went to Hearst. It was very cold and hard going on the Hearst side. I'm hearing they will arrange to trailer back to Cochrane instead of riding. Limited is limited.

We just got back from doing 350Ks from cochrane to kap and the trails are mint we did not go past kap though all the groomers are out around here and keeping things in order I will post up some vids from my new drift stealth when i get home fri night , more trails opening everyday here ,

I'm in cochrane currently - lots of sleds and good trail conditions being reported (as Muskoka Man reported). Looking fed to it. Might even try to get to Hearst (if not by sled then car). Will post what I find

Currently in Kap - great conditions!
Had a little "incident" with the Nytro in Cochrane - bent spindle. Yamaha dealer in Cochrane took one off a new sled and put it on ours in order to get us back on the trails. He looked after us right away -just a fantastic guy!! If you are ever up her, drop by and say hello to the owner -Jerry.

THANKS
