I have a 03 RX1 with a 121 track. Has anyone played with 22 or 23 gears? Stock is 24. If I dropped 1 or 2 teeth would this kill my top end? If I drop down 1 or 2 teeth would this make the track have excessive spinning? I run 144 11.75 studs. I know the Warrior is running a 23 tooth but is that because of a 136 track? I would appreciate some input. Thanks.

but in the down fall of loosing top end you will gain more bottom to mid .
no mater what changes you do to a sled you will always loose or gain . you cant have the 2 . ether you want kick #*$&@ bottom end or kick #*$&@ top end ...
all depends on what your running , how fare, whats the conditions, ice , snow , hard pack , is it cold , mild , snowing , windy , its all comes into to play .. you have one set up dose not mean it will work tomarow or the next week .. this is a on going tunning thing all the time....

but i would run 23 or 22 as a top gear cause i like hard bottom end and mid for trail ridding . you can never hold it to the bar on the trail so why not have hard hitting in the corners
i like to come out strong in the corners when you punch it your gone ..
and when you want to play on the lakes then gear up to 24 25 on the top .

I ran 22 top last year for a while, will work with stock chain but should have 1 link shorter. Definitely pulled harder and launched harder. Did lose some top end but it got there faster. Went to 23 this year along with 136 track. Bigggest problem was traction.
