New subframe finally showed up.
I got the A-arms back from Brian, at Half Baked. They look great.
The new boards are in. I was going to change the angle of them, but opted out last minute. I wanted to keep the stock holes for the RTX skid just in case I want to go back to that skid.
Here is the XTX skid in place with the homemade drop down brackets. I just need to pull the skid back out and install new bushings and torsion spacers.
The vent covers I ordered from XXXmodrods have showed up. I'm not to impressed with them. Some had pre-filter on the back some didn't.
While I was at it. I bent up a new rear bumper. I turned out fair. Not sure what colour to paint it yet.

What are your thoughts on the nytro hood vent and the stock vent covers? I was thinking about putting them on. Not sure i want to do the rest of the vents.
Thanks
Thanks

I thought that the covers for the stock vents would be great, but I don't think that they will fit that great. They don't follow the contours of the body that well and leave gaps. I will be going back to the pre filter over top of the stock vents.Lococoin said:What are your thoughts on the nytro hood vent and the stock vent covers? I was thinking about putting them on. My vinyl showed up from Jordan. It is sweet! He does quality work. Rest of the misc. parts also showed up from Port. Finally have all pieces to put it together

Yes but I won't be using it as the new vinyl is there. You interested in it? PM me.

Well here is the vinyl. Love it or hate it, it's different!
The new seat cover from sled solutions.
I just have to remove the skid one final time for a greasing and new bushings. Replace some rivets with SS ones.

I went with the same vents plus the shock towers. I have seen a lot of vents and XXXmodrods are at the top of my list. The pre-filter vents are for the clutch side, I also had my hood vent pre-filtered because I have the K&N intake so just a little more protection. This is an interesting build because I am doing a lot of the same stuff to my sled, BB boards, subframe, vents.... Starting mine soon will watch this one to get ready. Nice Job!

GB, I had Arctic FX do the graphics. I'm really happy with them. Thanks Ferg! I just wish I had the time to paint it like yours. I really like the white. The two of our sleds together would look like Spy vs. Spy!

Pulled out the skid for one last time. Installed new sliders, and bushings. I did come up with a idea for the front limiter straps. I have seen that some are haveing problems with the bottom bolts tearing up the track. This was apparent with this skid and track.
So in went the thread rod, nothing too fancy here. This should stop the straps from rolling towards the back. A anti-stab kit may stop them from rolling forward. I'll have to look for one of those.
