Don't get to excited guys this is a request for a track swap write up would be a great sticky . I previously gave up on the powerclaw for this year only so much money to put into a sled a year but revisiting the idea if I was able to install this myself may be able to pull the trigger and get a few rides before end of season. very happy with my viper so far few small issues but by far best sled I have ever owned just found with the 1.6 cobra had to ride a little to aggressive in the tight twisties in deep snow very capable crossover track but I only trail ride or follow the path when no other options so I am okay with loosing trail handling.

Just remove the skid then follow the Chaincase sticky and the brake sticky. All in facts section. Chaincase is the one to really leave time and care for. Very fragile.

Once disc is off you can just remove the bolts holding caliper/bearing assy in inside of tunnel and whole thing comes right off so no brake bleeding needed.

I am a carpenter so black nails and bloody hand are the only part of this I am sure I can handle.

The special flat ended snapring pliers is really nice but I did it with a regular one before I got the right tool. The brake disc removal and the chaincase itself are the two that can go badly. Just take your time and dont force anything since case is very Fragile and Disc can jam on shaft causing alot of extra work.
