Stay away from the hacksaw worst track i have run in years,go with a fully clipped 1" preditor track, better all round track than a rip or hack,i replaced 3 rips last year,so no one can convince me how great the ripsaw is,the preditor has been around for years,i am not at home so i cant look up the proper clipped track for you,but just go to tracks usa they will ship it for about 360 bucks.

I would go with a 1 " six pitch. Straight line traction as good as a ripsaw. Great top end and still have the ability to run short studs. Many people on this site speak highly of the 6 pitch.

i think what you are looking for is a camoplast # 9837 its a 1 inch fully cliped. thats what i have been runing and it works well for me. and and lots of others here run that track as well. we run extended high speed runs. ( 20-30 miles) speeds in exs of 100 mph and snow as deep as 2 ft plus break trail as well. this is the track that works well for me
and the condtions that i run in. john

sorry guys, but a 1" 6 pitch will not hook like a ripsaw. a 1.25" 6 pitch wont either on hardpack but it is better off trail. my 121" pro x with a ripsaw killed a 144" switchback that was running a 1.25" 6 pitch 0-60 and when that ripsaw was on my viper i didnt have any problems pulling from other 6 pitch equipped sleds!

I ran tons of sleds running ripsaws when I had an 1.25 six pitch on my RX. I can honestly say that I pulled at least 90% of them for the first 500 ft.

Just a thought, does the shorter lug track affect engine cooling ,is there less amount of snow being thrown at the exchangers. I have installed the extra rear exchanger on my rtx, I hope it makes a difference.

Track should not make much difference as far as cooling goes. If you added the rear cooler you will be in great shape.
