I have vector mountain and a rear mount turbo waiting to go in. I am considering a track swap or, at the very least cut the windows and install extroverts. If I swap out the track I am leaning towards a 159x16x2. How hard is the bracket relocation if I slide the skid frame back rather than use extensions? I have a lot of experiece with Skidoo( 16" in a zx chassis, rebuilt a number of insurance write-offs, etc), but I am new to Yamaha. I would love a 2.5" but I'm not sure I want to do a drop and roll. I would love to have some opinions, especially from other turbo riders, as to track of choice. Boondocking is the majority of our riding though we have some big chutes to get to the good stuff.

I dont have a turbo, but my rx1 has a drop and roll, ekholm tunnel, ekholm skid, 159x15x2 1/3", and everyone that has seen it go, or ridden it in the hills and powder thinks it is turboed, so yes go with the drop and roll. Also, I run 9 tooth drivers, way more efficient than 8's.

Is there a drop and roll kit available? Even a set of templates.

16" track
Lots of sleds around here have 16" X2" and some 2 1/4"
If you have turbo for sure will need extroverts and maybe longer track for mountains cause it will flip over backwards unless using M10 new suspension.
I have drop plates for 16" made up for sale and will post on web site in new year. Dave @ +http://www.powderlites.com

I have a 2.5" track in my vector without a drop and roll. It is close but is does fit. FYI
