Tracks USA rail installation

no problem. If you need any help dealing with this extension feel free to ask. thanks

Devin, lets see some pics of that bad boy stretched out. Are you doing a tunnel extension as well? I hear some just bend the flap out a bit and get away with that.

Good luck if you have not done it yet!

Skidframe is pulled out right now..extensions are bolted on now...just waiting for bearings and idler wheels to come on the mail before I reinstall the skidframe

I have the 09 rtx
not sure what factory gearing is but should I drop a tooth when going to the 136"

No clutching or gearing required for the 136" extension...the 146" is a must though

I talked to the guy at tracks USA who sold me the freeride package for my phazer and he told me,,"I put the same track/extension on a couple of my phazers. You should love it. It will be a completely different snowmobile. With the low end torque of the motor it will really launch the front end when you crack the throttle. I didn't notice any loss of top end speed once the track was broken in either."

I have heard this same thing from many people so Im assuming the 136" won't slow the sled down, But it will mow through powder a lot easier and your chance at getting stuck is slim with the 136" 1.5" 14"

since we opened up the subject of powder id like to hear what people have to say about good powder skis

Sky dogs, but the best is yamaha mtx skiis off of the phazer mtx. They offer the best coverage for on trails and backcountry. The sky dogs are strictly for powder mostly.

Your location is also Minnesota USA, your lucky cause I also paid 150$ for shipping and another 100$ for border taxes.

Where are you in Canada?

I was trying to estimate what shipping would be for me. I'm in Manitoba and it seems like shipping to the border and driving down would be a lot cheaper.

Ontario Canada. I was gonna ship to the border but a lot of the warehouses had high rates per pound of package. It would have been a few hundred dollars. Canada post charged me 80$ to get it to my door.

Wow. We only pay $5 per item at the warehouses near here.

I know those warehouse charge per pound, the track and rails was like 68 pounds at 5$ a pound it was pricy

finally bought the freeride kit paid 703$ after shipping to northern mn.
is there a thread that shows how to take the drive axle out or does someone have any pictures?
