Trail is closed for the 2023-2024 season in the western UP

If you ride between Hurley Wis. and Lake Gogebic on trail 2, the trail from Hurley going east ends at Ramsey The rest of this trail is closed all the way to Wakefield.
If your coming from Lake Gogebic trail 2 ends at Wakefield. At this time there is no other trail to make the connection on trail 2 to Hurley. I am hoping they come up with a solution for all of us & the local business's.

Last year for the 2022-2023 season that trail was a new trail. This year 2023-2024 the trail is closed because of to many idiots that didn't respect the laws on this road. (old US 2)

Correction on Trail 2.
If your coming from Lake Gogebic on trail 8 to Wakefield you can pick up trail 11 south in Wakefield to trail 2 going west to Marenisco. if you stay on trail 8 to the town of Wakefield (around Sunday Lake) you still might be able to pick up trail 2 going east to Marenisco.
