K, haven't ordered my trailer yet as it will be a 2 week minimum build time and the cost to bring it up here from Georgia is $1,200
Looking at trailers closer to home....not good with getting this close to winter

New trailer is on the assembly line as I type this.
Got a great deal......2016 26 foot v-nose 8 1/2 wide car hauler (24 foot box with 2 foot V), radial tires, 5 year warranty, black with the extra thick aluminum, LED lights in and out, diamond plate stone guards, dexter axles and all the standard features for $4,795.00 out the door! Plus, I can drive to it without wasting a weekend or taking time off of work

Are you coming to northern Indiana nos-pro? Lots of trailers made there, before I bought I did a tour checking out lots of brands.

Where did you order it from?!? Will be calling them next week! Did you get 5200 lb. axles or 3500?

Going to install a Sport Series SnoCap on my Triton two place this afternoon. Looking forward to clean sleds at the end of the haul

They were at the Syracuse Big East show. I talked to the guy quite a bit and looks like a nice alternative to an alum. cap. Let us know how you like it.Going to install a Sport Series SnoCap on my Triton two place this afternoon. Looking forward to clean sleds at the end of the haul

Anyone ever try using electric disk heaters in an enclosed trailer with a portable generator? I have 110 outlet inside the trailer that could run off generator. 20' Expedition trailer is finished inside.

My buddy had debated about it up there last year but passed, messed with shite covers all season & bought one from there this time around, just over $1K to his door.
Took a couple easy hours, we did a few 'lil modifications to his older trailer to suit him better & some beers but think it'll hold up ok to the snow load (according to the sales pitch he got) We'll see, maybe

I have to take a class down there in April. If i can find one, I plan to pick up a truck while I'm there. Not sure what your timeline is, but let me know if you want me to pick something up if things work out.Agree, had a few open trailers....sleds were always a mess.
Had 2 smaller enclosed trailers. They were good for keeping the mess off but a pain to load....especially when you clank your noggin.
My 27 foot inline was a great trailer. Could it have been a little taller? Oh yes. But I have already fit 5 short track sleds in it. Racing on asphalt we had all the cool downs, clutching bins, fuel cans and tools, 3 sleds and a 4-wheeler....there was still room to get around.
The 27 foot inline was sold Friday so now it's back to a big trailer. Trying to find the best deal on a 8.5 x 28 foot enclosed with V-nose. Right now a place in Iowa has one, or Georgia where they make them. Trouble is the 2,230 mile drive to and from Georgia
Edit: Woops, didn't finish reading the thread. Looks like you got it figured out already....
