Transfer blocks

I have concerns with metal on metal also.. Have not heard a lot of great ideas.. I just wrapped mine with electric tape. Helps!.. not perfect by any means..

get a piece of of heater hose full weidth of the rod...helps protect..

Yes, it works great. Takes some pressure off the skis, makes it transfer better but am sure it will effect ride some.

exactly matt...this is where the racewerx block shines...

for those wanting to run the rod only ..a piece of heater hose over the rod helps soften the blow of the pads...

another option is getting another set of blocks and sanding down further the full transfer position...

fyi ...running with the rod out with over sized wheel kit is a problem as the pads can stab the wheels

OK, i measured stock to Racewerx. I measured edge of hole to faces. It was easier & in metric to help our Canadian TYers. Hole is 8.75 mm if you want to do the math to center.

STOCK
1=14.8mm
2=15.9
3=17.3
0=6.2 (blocks removed)

RACEWERX
1=18.7mm
2=13.8
3=14.8
4=15.4
5=16.4
6=17.5
So the Racewerx #2 will gain you 1mm over #1 on stock setting. Obviously it only takes a mm or 2 to make a difference.
P.S. If this was ROCKERDAN you'd need a 6 pack to read 16 pages of measurements & pics. So i kept it short since it's late at night...lol...sorry Dan

what no pics? LOL

I want a youtube video! haha

OCD I'm assuming that's a typo on 1=18.7 on the Racewerx?
NOPE! I think they put the stickers on wrong unless they mean the number is on top when the ramp is pointing towards scissors. I stated this before, #2 is the most transfer on mine. Maybe i can send pic...

I have mine on 2 also...I thought the same exact thing

I believe according to instruction sheet the setting your in is with the number on top. Then your numbers would be in line with the sheet I got with setting 6 being the least amount of transfer which would work with your numbers. Just a thought but could be wrong

Ok, thanks OCD.
Well if that's the case I think I'll stick with the stock blocks and see how much material I can remove before they become trail trash. I was hoping the Racewerx would allow for a wider range of adjustment than stock, but that's not really the case.

Yes. If i turn it around this time, then the number directly on top would be the flat spot the scissors hit.

Since the stocker has 2 sides that repeat is it possible to just mill or belt sand the duplicate side down some without weakening the block? I get decent transfer on 129" RR skid, but it could be better.

So basically with blocks removed is a lot more transfer then the racewerx set on its highest transfer setting... I guess I'll save my money
