I had a Turbo Nytro with PCIII, tuning it was a breeze.

This GEM Module is just plain frustrating. I have a rich spot at 6500 - 7500 rpms and 1/8th throttle that is so rich the sled fouls out. On a slow trail ride of 40mph the sled wont run.

I'm ready to remove the GEM and sledgehammer it.

Anyone have any advice with the GEM. Can I get this thing to run for this weekened with family?

Help

Called Matt @ MPI, All I can say is how pleased I am with his Service Expertise!

My GEM Module boost nipple is broken off. Fueler isn't seeing Boost and he is sending me another one overnight.

I've been looking into Vipers and Turbo's, and this basically completes my decision.

Pretty hard to beat a Supercharged Apex IMHO.

I wish Mac would bring out a Supercharger Kit for the Viper.

I'm thinking for my next boosted sled I'll be going from a Turbo back to a Supercharger.

Bottom end grunt is way stronger on the Supercharged sleds.

My MCX Turboed Apex & my riding partners Powderlites Turboed 1200 Doo won't even go by a stock Apex until 35 MPH or so. Can't see the Viper being much different.

Would love to see someone post track dyno runs for a Turbo Viper vs a Stock one Like Allen Ulmer did for my Turbo Sled.

Turbo has a lot of advantages but man I miss the low end grunt & the hole shot of my Supercharged RX 1.

I keep pondering the difference between turbo and supercharger...
I have a turbo sled and love it.... I had a supercharged sled and loved it as well ... Just not the trailability because of the gas milage.. In my neck of the woods
you need a solid 100 km between gas stops - and that's on a good day....
I have also noticed that a turbo can be cranked up to insane boost levels where as a super charger is less insane so to speak. My ultimate rush is a front mount turbo... It acts the same as a supercharger for low end grunt with zero lag........... But when the boost exceeds 14 lbs There is nothing like a turbo........ And it can do it all day long trail or race.
